A Hotchkiss H35 light tank has been recently found on the beach of Camiers, France.
Here´s hoping the tank will be recovered and preserved properly, otherwise it will turn into a pile of rust soon. Quote:
Possibly, this tank could be the remains of the Dunkerque gap fightings, which happened in May-June 1940. Another possibility is that its hull was discarded after the turret had been removed to be used on a bunker. The town of Camiers is willing to recover the tank and maybe to place it as a monument, it is one of only a handfull of Hothckiss tanks still surviving today.
