The one where the beer needs to be cooled and not thawed out to drink

Default Christ!

44 degrees C today in Geelong. Not going to get below the low 30s tonight.
Got another two days of this in front of us.

I am glad I now live in Sydney. When living near Geelong, 20 years ago the weather in summer was not as hot as it has been over the past couple of years. I hope the temperature when we are at Corowa is a little cooler than last year.

Ahhh, only 45.3 degrees today. Building engines in that heat isn't fun. Beats any gym workout I reckon.
At least the power is back on at home tonight. Was out for over 12 hours last night.

Bring on winter.

All of SE Aus is sweltering at the moment...
This is the max temperature history for the last few weeks-
35.4, 36.4, 39.2, 41.4, 27.6, 29.8, 29.8, 31, 36.7, 39.0, 42.6, 33.6, 27.6, 29.8, 32.7, 37.3, 38.6, 38.8, 35.3, 36.6, 30.4, 34.4, 38.6, 39.3, 40.7
And the forecast for the next few days-
41, 42, 42, 42, 38, 39, 39
10 days plus over 100'F
I know these aren't the hottest in the world, but too bloody hot for me.
No relief or rain in sight either.
PS I hate winter, too!

I'm just glad I gave up sheering even when I was in my 20's these temps used to get to me I agree Howard we desperatly need rain all the small creeks here are dry and the main ones are at record lows so that dosn't look good for the river

Here in Holland it is just above freezing during the day, and below at night. We hope the cold sets in again so we can do some more ice skating like a couple of weeks ago!

Summer's quite nice up here above 980m (I have to sit on the roof to get into the "Kilometre High Club" ). Hottest day so far has been 35 deg, with low humidity throughout. I think over Matilda IIA's way they even had snow this Summer!
