Right i have had a quote from MJS shipping (Yateley Hampshire) anyone know of this firm ? they have quoted £1677 from Fergus to Liverpool

break down of

Base Freight............£1512.00
Forwarding fee........£0045.00
UK customs............£0035.00
Marine Insurance.....£0085.00

have they or i missed anything ? is there anything i should be aware of, i dont want to get stung like others have as i cant afford it.

they have told me if i use wood in the loading / securing it has to be treated wood with a certificate present, and the vehicle needs blasted clean and certified by the seller.

I am stuck with the loading of the carrier as i have been told the container will be 4ft off the floor which i cant understand why ? why not load it on the floor then lift it onto the ship ?

cheers

Richard
