Hoping to start the engine again this week on the cab 11 as it has been a while
over the weekend I found enough parts to assemble the head lights and since we are not painting the 11 I cleaned the inside of the lights and painted them with fish oil and hopefully that protects them from rusting any more
our big job during last week was fitting reconditioned brake wheel cylinders to the ford 1 ton ute, greasing wheel bearings and fitting a better steering box and today we are going for a test run to make sure all adjustments are ok. not long before it heads off to be loaded ready for the trip to Europe

Default Saturdays work

Hello Everyone,
Last Saturday was spent working on the F30 bumper. It was badly bent and twisted and has sat for nearly four years waiting for the right piece of steel to come along to make a new one. This did not happen. At least now I will have an original bumper with lots of "patina".
I was hoping to be able to drive the 305 km to this years NZMVCC Easter rally in Rob Beale's home town of Gisborne.
Still lots to do and time is ticking away so maybe it will be by car.
Regards,
Terry
