fan noise
Even on my C15A the fan is the noisiest thing about the truck. Once you get up and over the speed it used to go with the old 216, I run a 235. the resistance to turning sometimes overpowers the belt.
If anybody has a part # and brand for an aluminum fan with some flex I would like to know. Absolutly no room for a viscouse drive. I tried a 4 blade automotive fan but it couldn't move enough air by the engine and the cab just got unbearably hot, especially up the Fraser Canyon when it was 40 C out.
