My interest does infact span further than cab 12's.
In fact cab 12's only account for 25% of my collection.
Which is the same ratio of Chevs Vs Fords.
So, Nerrr.

Default A couple more messages from Jan

1. Next time there should be access at the office at Ball Park!

2. Reminding people to turn up at 12.30pm on Sat 14th for the MLU photo at Corowa Airport. I suggest we make it in front of the Blitzes.

3. There were a couple of articles today in the Border Mail - one on Richard Coutts-Smith and the other about Bandiana and their participation with the Ford Ambulance.

Default Monday Update

Just talking to Jan

There are over 60 military vehicles in town, absolute record at this point whats the estimate for Saturday.

Last night there were more Blitz's than Jeeps but this might have reversed tonight.

The Oze Ampib has arrived and tested the waters!

So far 3 Blitz Ambulances.

Everyone is to go to Ball Park to register and get their goody Bags.

We are waiting for Swiss Chris arrival tomorrow.

There has been some small mechanical issues but overall everything is going far beter than expected.

My plan is to leave at lunch time tomorrow. Can't wait; it's going to be huge.

People are already registering for next year !!

Default Another two

We loaded these onto Hugh's truck yesterday afternoon after finding a convenient loading dock in an antiques yard.

They are now safely in Corowa. Front one is Swiss Chris' F15 and the rear one a C15A belonging to Russell Hughes.

Default We're HERE!

Chris and I rolled into Corowa this evening after the scenic tour via Seville, Healesville, Glenburn then through Yea to Benalla and Corowa.

Lots of nice CMPs here including Howard's cab 12 and the Hedges' cab 11. There are also THREE CMP ambulances here - and it's only Wednesday!

Have caught up with a lot of MLU-ers already. For those about to depart don't forget the group shot at 12.30 Sat - meet in front of the cherry picker at the airport.

G'Day all have a great time at Corowa. I met a fiew of you early in the week but unfortunatly I had to return home Tuesday night as my Father had a massive heart attack ad passed away. His funeral will be Monday then life will have to go on. My blitz is still at Corowa and hopefully will be in the parade. I have arranged a lift down with a truck on Saturday to pick the blitz up I will try to get in a fiew quick hellows but the truck driver won't want to waste too much time. Bob I hope the dash isof some use to you. Thank you for the support you have given me.
Regards Robert.

Made it in time for breakfast!

Corowa has seen some progress since last year, including a new McDonalds store.

Of course, Somebody had to christen the Drive-thru! I suppose they were lucky it wasn't opened last year otherwise they might have had an M3 Stuart perform the task!
