Tpr Blais is reg army (12RBC) based in Valcartier.
About the reserves. Many of the people who served with my son in Afghanistan in 2007 have gone back for a second tour this year. If my son had remained in the reserves in Quebec he would most likely be in Afghanistan now. But as things stand at the present time he will be going in 2010. One person from his platoon in 2007 hit two IEDs and was injured twice. He is now back in Afghanistan.
