For those in the UK looking for MRF 9.00-13 tyres, see HMVF for good news:

Quote:
We are the importers for MRF tyres in the UK and can supply 9.00 x 13 sandgrip tyres. A production run is taking place next month so if anyone needs any this is the time to order them as not sure when next production run will take place We are just setting up our new website which will have all details but if you e-mail me i can forward specs a picture and specs. I do not have final price as yet but expect then to be around the £85 mark. Please spread the word as need to get anyone who wants them to get an order in over the next few weeks.

Default 9.00 x 13 Tires w/ Chevron Tread

Having purchased five new tires I have no need for the four Firestone of Canada that I removed. They all will hold air and can be driven around the block. However, I wouldn't drive them on the road for any distance. I think that the youngest one in the bunch is dated 1947. If any of you need a set just for display purposes, I'm offering them up for $250 for the set, FOB my home in Chandler, Arizona 85224. They weigh about 23 kilos each for an approximate weight of 210 pounds. Shipping is to be arranged by the buyer but I will load.

Regards,
Jim

Phil,
I'm not sure about the tires by themselves but the dealer said the weight for a tire and tube was 24.5 kilos. I'll admit to guessing at the weight of my tires using this figure.

Regards,
Jim

Default four months later.......

Got a call today from the tire dealer in Dallas that had ordered my Trelleborg tires for the C8.
Went and picked them up, and they look better than expected.
Thanks, David

Default Tubes

Would you by chance know what the brand and part number is for the tubes you are using with the 9.00x13's?

I have been searching in Ottawa for a quite a while now and have had no luck finding anything that will work.

Thanks,

J

Jason, have you spoken with the folks at Frisby tire? The south Ottawa / Queensdale branch deals more in truck and farm tires than most of their other branches. When I wanted 9x16 tubes their only question was "how many, with which valve stem style?".
