boxes are metal with hasps....from memory an early wartime date...problem is they are right at the back of the shed so will have to move mountains to get at them!however will do it over the weekend and will have pics ready by monday night...best I can do!

gentlemen have taken the pictures but unable to download same until brains gets back here on monday! 1 box marked LAY/C 1 1942....2nd marked AB/1 SF 1942 3rd... C 224...FT 1944 last marked C 636....!....1944 2 boxes marked to a Capt.Fraser......best regards malcolm.......

Will await the outcome of the pics appearing on Monday. I don't have my sources to hand at the moment but when I do I should be able to ID the C.1. C.636 is a higher number than any of my sources mentions. I don't recognise the markings on the second box. |

Richard many thanks Ill do that...one of the old Regt veterens I look after has been passing blood al night so Im off to the Freeman in Newcastle with him...so will have to put things on hold for the moment.regards malcolm
