The Mobile guns are easily identified by the stabilising outriggers, while the Static guns were secured by 16 hold-down bolts and did not require the outriggers:

What a conincidence.
I have a big screw threaded item I picked up years ago with some other Army bits but could never identify. Looking at the blurry blowup of the 3.7 inch being loaded and there it is. 'Trunnion end cap' Now I can sleep again Cheers Phill
