It didn't quit. It just got shy and stopped running in front of the museum curator (and event organizer) and a MWO from the First Hussars. Once back home it popped back to life and wanted to be driven around the block....something my wife forbids. The culprit seems to be the set screw on the distributor coming loose as everything else checks out OK. Rain gave it a good wash and MUST have been the cause of the Carrier problem.
