So what is the nature of your query, David? You have the pics but don't know how to post them?

It seems from what the owner has said that the chassis numbers may actually be for a 1944 Chev 1543 truck. Although the S/M you mention was for CC60Lx2 trucks (with 10.50-20 WD single tyres), it would be a simple matter to find and fit commercial Chev wheels (7.50-20 tyres) as per the CC60Lx3 as both have the same 10 stud pattern. But there's the rub. The owner says the truck has 8 stud wheels, which is true for the Dodge T-L110 3 Tonner, which also has an Eaton 2 speed diff (which the owner has partly described). The Dodge T-L110 had 16" wheels, but 20" CMP wheels also fit, or if they are Civillian style duals, then wheels from a post-war Austin or Bedford will fit.

At a casual glance, it may be possible to confuse the Dodge and Chev bonnet and grille line, but posting those pics, David, will clear the matter up!
