All I have is the pics and the line drawings that I think you have already .... David P would have more info maybe . There was a section of curve faced bar fixed along each side to hold the canvas in place .. I think

I think they also used a variation of those modern 'make sense' canvas fittings that are easy to buy anywhere .

The canvas would have been a heavy grade, 20oz at least
