I don't think than an individual will be able to import one from the US anymore, at least not legally. Being military type goods, it will likely need a state department export permit from the US, and since it falls under the goods described as controlled by the directorate of controlled goods, the importer would likely have to register with them here in Canada, as well as get an import permit. My experience with trying to import this type of stuff from the US in the last few years is that the US state dept won't give export permits for these type items except to police, military, and military museums.
