May I ask that if anyone wants a copy, please contact the Publishers direct, and not Trans-Pennine Publishing, the editors and where Profesor Earnshaw was based (also a 'book shop'). Regrettably Trans-Pennine have been wound-down as a result of Alan's death. The company's shop in Appleby has also been closed. It has in fact turned out much sadder than anyone had thought possible.
Please contact: Nostalgia Road Publications Limited Unit 6 Chancel Place, Shap Road Industrial Estate, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 6NZ UK Tel: +44 (0)1539 738832 Fax: +44 (0)1539 730075 email: sales@nostalgiaroad.co.uk |

It is with some pleasure that I confirm that VINTAGE ROADSCENE that was fomerly franchised by Trans-Pennine Publishing and edited by Alan Earnshaw, has continued under Ian Allan Publishing. A new Editor has been appointed and it will continue under Ian Allan for the future. Yours truly continues to write for MILITARY SCENE, and back copies containing the entire CMP Story from inception to 1939 are available.
I mention this just to advise that not all was lost when Alan passed-on. http://www.ianallanmagazines.com/vintage/ |

That is good news. Could you please list the subject of each of your articles and the issue numbers they were printed in? A while back I tried to search through the list of back issues but could not find them. Thanks, Hanno

To be honest I am not sure myself as I don;t have a complete set but the CMP Story started in issue 105 I think and has just finished with issue 118, with 13 Parts! The first part of the WD Mechanization Report started with issue 99, and the first part relating to the 1936-1938 Mechanization Board Reports started with issue 85 I think.
