You are correct in saying that there is not much pictorial evidence of the trailers especially the twin Axle 'CMP' type. I do have a reasonable amount on the single Axle semi due to my research into the early years of the North/South Military Highway.

Here are some of the trailer photos I found from the AWM one of them is a semi.

The reason I was looking is since I found a supplier for my missing drawbar I thought there was not much point having a hitching point and not actually tow something with it.

Are there still trailers available or are they pretty much extinct?

Is it possible to get plans for them to make a reproduction from?

From the photos I have found the four wheeled trailers were the most common used for Chevy's like mine.

If any one wanted photographs of Jeep Trailers it seems the AWM has more of these than anything else - I got sick of seeing the words "Jeep Trailer"
