Default M151A2 top door anchor pivot

Hello Dave,

Here is a picture of the top door pivot, really all it is is some flat stock and a piece of pipe welded to it with a angle cut to fit the windshield.
I just attached it to the top edge for your picture, you can see I have removed the CDN roll bar and mounted the original top rails which are secured on the rear wheel house. I did have the top and doors on during the spring but removed them for the summer. I did forgot somehow to take a picture of the rear rod for the curtian and the top rod that helps holds it all together. I'll do that monday.....

If you need measurements of the top pivots let me know, can measure up for you. I'll keep you posted on the rest

Cheers Paul

Default M151A2 pictures

Hi Dave,

I found some pictures I had taken some time ago, another fella in my town has a M151A2 that he brought up from the states. You can see how the U.S. ones use the roll bar as well as the canvas support rods. He has never insured it for the road and lets his grand kids drive it around on the farm.

Thought some one might be intrested to see how the U.S. builds them...

Paul

Default M151a2 door frames

Hi Dave, Thanks she's a fun buggy to drive around

Here's a few shots of the left door frame mounted, I'll PM you the measurments for the rods, but you can kind of see how it works from here. Because I removed the CDN roll bar I'm using the U.S. top system, but I also can use the CDN doors, I have other verticle curtain rods made due to the iniside door closer using the roll bar to keep the doors closed.

As for the verticle curtain rod , it's 3/8 rod with a 12 inch long 1 inch wide flat bar welded to it. I ran out of room for pictures on this post so i'll put more on the next. There is also a horizontal rod from the windshield to curtian rod for door opening

I have enough items to make it look U.S. or back to stock CDN , the fender mirrors I removed but have them still as well as the grill/screen guard.

I did dig out a N.O.S. olive drab set of doors and curtains from when I purchased them last year, so i'll PM you on that idea if your intrested.

Paul
