True true Grant thank you

its around 6893lb 3.12tonne metric

i wouldnt want to have brake failure when its be hind the morris gun tractor

the brakes are the best they can be but with modern day drivers the way they are

the polsten carriage manual ive checked states it is a bendix s228 part number or cat number csp125/1 don know if this cross references any the part numbers used by ford or cmp

i just wanted to say thanks again lads i hope to resolve it with your good help

cheers davey

Default Replacement

If you want to be sure, then buy a new one. There are many vehicles that used a similar m/cyl. The critical things are the bore size, and the mounting flange. Be careful if you buy a kit. Usually a kit does not contain the piston and spring (although this is not aways the case) the next thing is that pistons can vary in length, and the wrong piston wont work. When it is assembled the primary cup (solid one) needs to be just clear of the transfer port. It is simle stuff really.

Default polsten parts

instead of starting new thread

ive a large quanity of spares for the polsten and will list them shortly

i am still in need of a jack leg handle the straight type
which it should have had 3 of them fitted but one is missing
not the angled one near winch

can any one help this is the only piece missing which would then make it 100% complete and original

thank you in anticipation

davey
