Default data plates

I have my CMP data plate and it looks like a galvanized plate. The magnet does not stick to it so there is no metal in it,but there is small corrosion in certain spots like aluminum does when it starts to corrode. The plate itself looks like tin.
I would be interested in putting the proper type of data plate back on my carrier as it will not experience the harsh elements to corrode it again that saw the demise of the original plate. It has a home now that will keep it safe!
Derk.
