You can see a couple of the grounding straps under the hood so it started out as a wireless truck.
The serial number is 58 higher than mine and the engine number is 144 higher than mine. The side window openings have been modified and they've added that rear crossmember. The rear troop seats have that park bench look about them.

Hi David,
Troop seats are not original to this bed. Note the inverted "U" shaped welds on the inner bedsides under the existing seats. The original bed had brackets there for seats that have been cut off at some point. Thanks, David |

Despite its obvious shortcomings..I reckon it isn't a bad buy
![]() If it turned up over here , for that price, it would sell very quickly . The info is available to build a replica 1A1 body ... There must be a surplus of cab 11 C8's in Nth America .... either that or everybody who wants one has one already ![]() Mike

It could be that we've recognized that we just don't fit in the 11 and 12 cabs.... either due to height or girth. My personal belief is that they were designed to fit 13 year old Romanian gymnasts.

It's not much of a problem to bring a non-running vehicle into the US. All that's needed is for the Canadian bringing it across the border is to complete a US Customs Form 7510 (don't quote me that form number; it's been awhilw since I had tp refer to it!) which is available at the US Customs Office at the border. They will even help you fill it out. At least that's what the Detroit Customs people told me. Regards, Jim |
