Well, you lot down under have caused a great stir here in Canada.

Vancouver, British Columbia is home to the Winter Olympics.

The Oz team have blatantly flown a huge flag on one of the village buildings.

The flag shows a pugilistic 'roo in a fighting stance.

Well, the IOC went ballistic (twits!), demanding that it be taken down.

A backlash reaction resulted in hundreds of flags, national and other, to be draped over balconies, apparently in sympathy with the Oz stance.

Stay tuned for more idiocy from the IOC...in the meantime, a box or two of Tim Tams would, no doubt, calm down the issue.

(Where the hell is the jumping 'roo icon when I need it?)
