Thanks Phil. I was just asking because I pulled a good rad out of a 41 chev that still was holding antifreeze and thought I could swap it for a spare tire carrier. I wasn't sure about offering the swap because the g506 uses a 235 cu. in. motor.

Hi John

The CMP radiator if in good condition is over sized from the standard Chevy I believe. I am using the the original 1942 radiator of by Pattern 13 C60S which has a radio box on the back road weight between 11-12,000 lbs. and I often tow the 1200 lbs. generator trailer behind it. The truck never over heated with the original 216 cu.in. even in very slow parades, or hauling steep grades. The same radiator handles the 261 engine and if anything it runs a little cooler.

Cheers Phil

Here's a picture of the rad from a g506. Maybe someone could compare?

A friend of mine has one of those rads with the two inlets/outlets for a Ford too if anyone needs one.
