Canada wins the Gold Medal in Ice Hockey

John, we here in the US have followed the "Declaration" that "Canada will Own the Podium" as have many other countries.

As stated earlier, Pat and I are adopted Canadians and we are very proud that Canada won the most Gold Medals in the history of the Winter Games.

As a side note I watched the earlier portion of the game on the BBC feed and in their rankings, Canada was first due to winning the most Gold Medals.

I think in retrospect, Canada did in fact "Own the Podium".
