Thanks Maurice. That sounds pretty convincing. Do your boxes fit completely within the brackets or do they sit up on the end of the forward bracket like mine do?
I would love to see the stowage diagram if you still have a copy
thanks

Thanks Maurice.
If yours fits I guess that settles it. Mine are only a fraction of an inch out, but it wont be the first time I've come across something fitted in not quite the right place on a WW2 venicle. Pressures of wartime production, I guess.

Hi Walde
attached (hopefully) is a picture of the P60 box and the AT shot (basically just a lump of steel with a tracer in the base) and another of the box in the
CGT. You will see it doesnt sit quite flat, it sits up on the forward lip of bracket.

Default P60 boxes

Rick

Thanks

This makes sense, its been a mystery for a while, I have never seen a P60 box at any swap meet in Canada. Anybody have a couple?

Next mystery is what was stored above the driver? There are some brackets. Also where were the door curtains stored?

PS

Your CGT body looks identical to mine, what is the S/N on the tag?

Walde

Default Cgt

I have P60 boxes wich ly flat in the brackets , unfortunatly I forgot camera to take pictures .
Above the driver therte should be a plotting board/table in a canvas bag.
there are also 2 brackets in the top of the rear compartment just behind the cab , I was told that they were for the tripod for the plotting table.
