Default Edward Smith Lake

Hello Carman,

"Geographical Names of Manitoba" lists Edward Smith Lake as having been named in 1995 after Rifleman Edward Smith, RWR. The lake is in the vicinity of Flin Flon, MB, to the north of Kississing Lake.

As well, if you are looking for info from the National Archives in Ottawa you may want to first phone to find out what procedures you need to follow. Their toll-free number is 1-866-578-7777. Hope this helps.
