Hi Gareth

Keith told me once, that my F15 should be under 3t and a F15A is a little bit heavier. I think the easiest way is if you drive onto a weighing machine. Are you allowed to drive trucks up to 3,5t with your car licence like here in Switzerland? I'll have to reduce the payload capacity, so my truck only weighs with additional load just 3,49 t otherwise I'll get a fine if the police ever checks that...

Hope this helps
Chris

PS I think we discussed that somewhere here before, but nobody could tell me the exact weight.

Grose weight for a C15 is 8300 lb. take off the load of 1680 lb. gives a curb weight of 6620 lb. or 2.96 imp. tons. Hope this helps.

Default weight

Had my C15 and C15A over the weigh station for rego. The C15 came in at 2500Kgs, the C15A was right on 2900Kgs, removed all the loose bits and little fuel.

Default C15a

I weighed mine locally a couple years ago. 7100 pounds with me in it a 2 full tanks. A ton or so less without driver I would think.

... thanks for that information. Good to know. This means that I won't have to reduce the load capacity in order to register my truck legally here in Switzerland.

2'680 + 750 loading capacity = 3'430 kg total weight => slightly under 3,5 t

Greetings
Chris
