Yes I agree ..looks like 41 or 42 . Holden initially made these with a seperate cab/body but later on , around 43 , they went over to the typical ute style one piece body . Some of these early Holden bodied examples went to the Middle East as seen in the AWM pics. here

The light Stone colour on the tag indicates for military use . The wheelbase will be 115" or thereabouts.
The next size up is the 1 tonner on 17" wheels with 123" wheelbase . Interesting find .

I just realised " C1 " indicates MARCH 1941 assembly making it a very early example, possibly one of the very first Holden did with the 41 style front end .

D L X indicates DULUX paint .

BTW obby , a guy in QLD sent me some pics of his vehicle . same as yours, but with the original ute body on it .... wooden frame with panels attached. My 40 model utes had the same body ..im still looking for info/plans
