I should be out there at Boobee's Friday after noon so will hog tie a couple of chairs close to the fire and up wind of the smoke.. As long as Boobee's electric lettuce patch dosen't go up in flames ,it should be a great weekend..

Dragging of magnets is left for Rob who loves to collect old bolts to clean and use again..... It is absolutely amazing how much steel, nuts, bolts washers, etc is picked up by draggin' a large magnet bar........ you can fill a bucket quite easily..... Thanks for all the early replies...... .......... keep them coming...... BooB

Bob is testing us all
All of my calendars show 24-25-26 as Thurs-Fri-Sat, either I'm looking at the wrong year, Bob is playing with us or there will be hungry souls in the field Thursday night....
I'm the duty guy that weekend so can't come close to committing to whether I'll be there between flights.

BBQ dates are Friday June 25th...Saturday June 26th and wrap up on Sunday morning June 27th........ My Boo Boo !!!!! BooB

Bbq
You guys are lucky to be able to organise a BBQ this far out,here in NZ we have to have it at a moments notice, otherwise it will bloody well rain.

It never rains down under.....
....all we see on the tele is the dry dry dry conditions and forest fires you are having 11 months of the year....oh yeah... the 12 month is flooding....
Boob PS...... wish some of you guys were not so far and could crashin our BBQ.

Last year, due to unforeseen circumstances, Brian and I had to cancel our trip to the 65th anniversary of D Day. This year, due to circumstances again, we didn't make the 65th anniversary of VE Day. A big disappointment for sure. Alas, all is not lost as we got wind of Mr. Carriere resurrecting his "Big Bad Bob's BBQ". It looks like we will be able to attend this 3rd most prestigious event, God willing and if the summer weather holds out in Ottawa. How early do you guys get snow? Brian and I have been reluctant to commit, but after the OMVA show where we checked with the characters involved it looks like all three will be at the BBQ. If that is the case there will be no chance of border raids. The scheduled departure from Castleton is 5:am Saturday morning so we should arrive in time for Gilles' bacon and eggs.
