Default Lost but not forgoten Carrier C19218

A member of our local has cum up with a photo of his wife's father siting in a Carrier Reg C19218 probably taken at Pucka during WWII training.
When did we start using C infront of the rego and how long did it last?
Has any one got this Carrier in there shed

Can you post the photo? 'C' is normaly the prefix for motorcycle. Unless it starts 'CT' for Canadian vehicle?

C was for "Commonwealth" and was used earlier in the war here. The C was painted in red.

Default Looks Like a licence plate?

It doesn't look like a registration number. it looks more like a licence plate number.

Cheers
Adam

Default - 5 spoke wheels

Hi Adam very interesting pic, I see it is fitted with 5 spoke wheels do you have a pic of the other side? would be interesting to see if it has all 5 spoke wheels, I have found a few over the last 30 years or so fitted with various nembers but as yet never with a full set I know that up around Darwin they were not uncommon, thanks for the pic Regards Ron
