Default Where is the centre of mass of the carrier world?

With the large number of carriers (21) mustered in Corowa for 'Year of the Carrier' and the 10 we had at 'Wings over Wairarapa' a couple of years before it could be south of the equator in the Pacific!

given the number of new restorations featured on MLU, and the presence of a pair of early Brens in NZ, a Scout and a couple of LP1 in Oz, together with several Mk I universals and Lloyds, not to mention LP2 and LP2A through out the Antipodies, we would just need a MkII universal, a Windsor and a T16 brought south to pretty well have the set.

"Men of Steel" in November 2011 is a possibility, (after the Rugby World Cup)
What do you think Lyn?

Default Now there's a point...

A Kiwi LP1 was ommitted from my list!

And the Mk1 variants like 3"Mor and AOP are present though MMG and Wasp are not.

The 1950's Kiwi LP2 variants include 3"mor, MMG and 6pdr tractor are around, but not the flame thrower...yet.

Default corowa 20??

Hey Rob I have it in the back of my mind to take the Scout over to Corowa in the coming years when it's complete - seems only fair and my folks property is quite nearby, also it's been ten or so years since I used to attend Corowa.

I'm guessing the Scout might be of moderate interest to one or two Armour enthusiasts in the East.

Cheers

Phill
