S.E.-39-42 was issued January 1942 titled FORD ILLUSTRATED ARMY PARTS CATALOGUE 1942-1942 MODELS For The Department Of National Defence Canadian Military Pattern Vehicles. Like the GM parts list No. 197 it covers the range of vehicles made at the date of issue, in the case of Ford: F8, F15, F15A, F30, F60S, F60L, F60H and FGT.
There is also a listing for S.E. 39-40 that I assume is an ealier version of the same type of listing. These manuals were later replaced by the single model manuals e.g. F60L-01. |

Thanks Grant
This is why I asked the question - something didn't seem right with this original data plate - the MB-F1 came later than the manual which I originally assumed went with that parts list. http://gallery.me.com/oldcmp.net/100...7-0001/web.jpg So the assumption is this is what was issued on very early cab 13s before the individual spare parts lists. Fascinating! Here's another unusual one - this is for one of the modified conventional Fords I think: http://gallery.me.com/oldcmp.net/100...4-0001/web.jpg
