Email adress matey. If you email Rick he may give you the front DXF's alternate i will get another card tube and start plotting......takes me ages to draft them out though..i need to do a set for one of the lads here to CAD up. Mind folks looking at Ricks prices if you are on the same peice of rock / country as him that is a pretty good price

also Rick i would not cut the lower edge holes... most folk still have these frame rails on their carriers, cut the others but not the bottom edge...its better to offer the plate up and drill them, that way any discrepancies between machines wont throw the holes out of kilter......so to speak.

great work though buddy well done

Lynn / Richard,

I don’t have access to the DXF files, at some point drawings could be made available…will post here if that can happen.

On the bottom rivet holes; the plate dimensions and hole placement was taken from both a Mk1 side plate and from a carrier with the plate removed but the angle iron / holes still in place…so I don’t see why the bottom holes wouldn’t be accurate as well as preferred. They should line up with your original angle iron or will be an accurate template if angle iron is missing.

Rick

Default Armour cad drawings

Just a thought .Maybe the one's that don't want the holes in the bottom could ask for them to be made that way . I put these original plates up beside my MK1 and MK2 carriers and they lined up pretty good . If you want Mk2 plates the inside corner is square and other than some different holes for mounting things on different modles I could see no difference in Mk1 & MK2 .Put me down for two left and two right side plates Rick George

I need a complete set of armour for my carrier, front, sides, rear, and engine cover. Rick, can your supplier make all of this now? And what is the ballpark costs for steel and cutting?

Thanks to the members who have offered to send drawings. As my funds are limited (my wife has stipulated that renovations are priority) I will likely have a friend produce one piece at a time locally, unless it works out better cost wise to make the drive to Alberta for a complete set.

Hi Hans, Welcome to the fun! There are about 5 active carrier projects in Alberta that are cooperating on some reproduction parts. I’m sure we can be helpful on supplying some items. I have sent you a PM give me a call when you have a chance. Best, Rick
