Thanks Paul.
That matches with the original Loyd I visted a few months ago just down the road from Lincoln, it still had it's armour fitted and I rememeber the distinctive bolt pattern for the lower hull internal armour. I'll post a photo of the external armour I have seen.

This is a 1944 Loyd TT front right hand side image. Note original mild steel hull and BP plate sitting in front of the hull skin but behind the bogie.

That's your lot 100% of my original.
![]() When you think about it it makes sense, why have lower hull armour behind the driver protecting the two passangers, but not protecting the drivers legs up front? According to the parts book (1941) all lower hull armour is internal, but I've not seen any proof of that yet. External Armour: Front Upper Hull plate (confirmed by period photos) Front Lower Hull Plate (confirmed by period photos) Front Upper Side Left & Right (confirmed by period photos) Internal Armour: Middle Lower Hull Side Left & Right (confirmed by period photos) Internal or External Armour? Front Lower Hull Side Left & Right
