Default It's a price thing

I reckon I can use standard grey primer and proper OD, bought from a dealer, cheaper than I could by RUSTOLEUM from the likes of Halfrauds.

It might have its uses as a standby can for small parts where you just want to get paint on, but I'd experiment with proper OD on top to see if it stuck first.

Default Wear Testing

Looks the part but is a little shiny. Leave it outside in the sun and rain for a few weeks and then compare the colour to the original colour. Some of these paints age "in the right direction". Like Bob said, it's your truck, so anything goes!
