Had a call from Lloyd this morning who has almost finished the body.
He has a need for a pattern, or photographs and measurements (or drawings) of the seat bases for the two crew seats which sit lower than the others. Lloyd says they must be on some sort of quick release to make them easily removable. Lloyd is not on the internet but if anyone can help please post pictures or other information here and I'll print it to send to him.

Hey Keefy - I asked the same question on 4 January in the Restoration Forum and re-asked on the 20th. Only response was from you to say you were looking.

Yes, that's a CGT. Lloyd's is a Ford, but the bodies were the same for both.

An absolutely outstanding job. Interesting to see the addition of a filter rack, cleverly sited.

Very nice, but I wonder if the positioning of the electric fuel pumps is as clever? How "Fuel tight" would the tank selection switch be under fuel pressure? The Autopulse pump was located after the switch to draw unpressurised fuel through the switch. And those Carter fuel pumps are good gear, and available in 6v or 12v. I wonder what voltage he is going to run?

gday, i asked Lloyd about the voltage yesterday and he said 6 volts,he removed the mechanical fuel pump and opted for electric, i gave him some photos i had of my grandfathers quad in italy for his collection and a couple of new helmet straps to make his equipment a little more complete,he was stoked. im sure he will need a pattern for the canvas top soon if he hasnt already organised it, the seats are recovered and look great also the head cushions for the two front crew. he found the quad served in north africa with the australian 9th division in 1941.
![]() the sun compass in top condition ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() traces of the aussie number 50315 . Lloyd found a live .303 round in a long and forgotten place dated 1941,its also got what looks like a .50 cal size hole inside the rf wheel arch heading towards the radiator.
