A couple of photos of the bridge that is being built just round the road from here. The first was taken with minor flooding and the second was taken at about the peak of the flood.

Greetings
Chris

The road at my entrance yesterday morning after 92.5mm of rain overnight. I had to remove some branches off the road so Vicki could go to work.

New bridge is across the creek in a tempory position so I can catch up on some stock work before building new headwalls. Vicki and Mum want sides on it they dont think it's safe as a flat deck.

That should do the job, Robert.
Might be a bit too close to that tree though. Still the tree might stop it washing down stream.

The constant flooding of the little creek behind my house this year has finally damaged a stacked rock wall that held a road in place for log trucks to cross the creek when timber was taken from the property during WWII.

Exclamation Bloody Rain

Meanwhile in Ganmain... Over the last 5 days we have received half of our annual rainfall! (Over 11 inches!)
Up until February 2012, Boggy Creek has flooded 3 times in my lifetime.
Now, four days into March, it has flooded a total of SIX times!
Many homes and a few businesses inundated including the local historical society. Thankfully we were able to remove the majority of the Historical Societies valuables before the banks broke the first time last Tuesday.
Also, everyone is safe and no serious injuries have been reported.
Boggy Creek Before & During...

Also have a look at This Video by the local news service was taken before the major flood of last night.
I know most of Eastern Australia is copping a hiding from the rain at the moment, Here's hoping everyone is OK.
How's the flooding around the rest of the country, Lads?
