Richard I think you are right. It is probably a Lucas. The only number I have found is in the cap. FO-420.

The Lucas distributor is recognisable by the securing screws, which go through slotted lugs, allowing timing adjustment by moving whole body, unlike the US distributors. The number from your cap does not look like a Lucas marking, but could be from a pattern cap of another maker.

It is a Lucas dizzy, as found in some Brit carriers. If your stuck I can send you the set I bought. Any one know where to get a cap at a realistic price?

thats pretty much everything copied off there card,personally I have never used them might of got there card from bendigo swap not sure but I hope it is of some value to you.
