It's a little harder to get in the Christmas spirit when we're setting record highs these days (85 on the Winter Solstice!) but cooler weather is forecast for Christmas so I might yet be able to light the Yule Log.
At this time of year I reflect on those no longer with us. I lost a very good reenactor friend this year, name of John Joblin and we all lost our very dear Jefe. So I'm going to pour a wee dram in a cup on Christmas Day and toast the memory of John and Jefe. Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year! ![]() Derek and Heather Heuring
