Default A sturmgeschutz III found intact

Here is another video of a rare Surmgeschutz III assault gun being recovered in Russia. The tracks and suspension on it started to work after they dragged it around a bit on harder ground, and its markings are still visible. Fantastic time capsule http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFhhh...=relatedGerman

It's amazing what they've been dragging out of swamps in Russia the past few years-didn't they recover a Panther or two a year ago?

I wish all I had to to restore a vehicle was to wash the mud off. It was probably in gear causing the tracks to drag. Jesse.

I know one of the tanks recently recovered from a Russian swamp was an "Under-new-management" T-34, i.e. captured by the Germans and re-painted with the Iron Cross..

Cheers, Derek.
