Bob Barker used to deal like this all the time. "Do you want whats behind the curtain?"

Unbelievable that someone would try and sell something at $12,000 and not even be able to supply a photo.

I,m with Rob on this one. If you are too lazy to furnish some pics for a $12G sale I would be leary in dealing with someone like this....

I was speaking with a fellow today as a matter of fact regarding buying and selling on the Internet. I told him rule#1 IS TO NEVER, EVER MISREPRESENT ANYTHING that you put up for sale.
Whether buying or selling, buyer beware is key, pics, questions, phone calls etc are cheap in the longrun.

This kinda reminds me of a certain Bren gun deact that was sold here recently, something about pics representing an item that wasn't what was being sold.....

I don't disagree with any of you that it would be much better if there were an accurate photo of what is being sold. Even no photo would be better to my senses than a photo of what the item could be turned into with some/copius work.
All I'm saying is that in this case they want to sell something, describe it (hopefully accurately) and do say that the photo is not the item being sold. It can be misleading if the buyer doesn't read carefully, but is not fraud because it is stated the two items are not one. I wouldn't buy based only on their description, particularly with the misleading potential of the photo, but that's my choice to make.
I originally posted the link so that if anyone was interested on the terms given they could investigate further to find out if the carrier met their needs/interests.

No Prob Grant!

It is great for Mlu's members to pass along info like these for sale ads.

It just drives me crazy when guys post ads using other peoples pictures or something totally apart from what they are selling...

Default Carrier for sale

Is this carrier at Radway ?? I see it is posted in the BC section . Is it in TOO many peices that you can't put it in one picture ? The carriers are getting harder to find the missing parts and very exspensive to finnish them up the right way . Like the Mercedes car that was advertise for a $1.00 .No one answered the add thinking it was a mistake .Finnaly a fellow phoned and the wife said they were divorcing and he was suppose to get half of the car . He got it for a $1.00 You never know till you ee it .

I talked with a guy I know that is going to take a look at it and he told me that there is only about 1-2" of armor left around the whole carrier ( I think the seller should have said that there is only a third of the armor left). I will keep you posted as I hope he will take some pictures of it and can post them here later.
