Default Mlu

That's the one I'm using now which is why the numbers are down I think. Shawn and Hanno have things well in hand so hopefully the confusion and outages will soon be a thing of the past.

"class-five" hasn't worked for over a week either, it's connecting to an unrelated site.

As many of you know, this is an ongoing problem, and the problems accessing the site differs from user to user. For some reason the website address does not always resolve to the correct location of the forum. This problem is compounded by the Geoff's passing, so we are now working solve it once and for all. This might include a (temporary) move to a new URL, so watch this space for further news.

These URLs should give you access to the site:
- http://orbit.dnsrouter.com/~mlu/forums/ - at least for now for most if not all users;
- http://www.mapleleafup.nl/ - this one will continue to work because I control it and will have it linked to the most current URL.

HTH,
Hanno

I have found, several times, that if I let the connection process fail (to get the message "web site can not be found" or however it is phrased) and then refresh the page, F5 key for Internet Explorer, the site may immediately load.
I don't understand it, but it may help with access or diagnostics.

Who is hosting this site? Is it possible to move it to someone else like Go Daddy or some other Domian registering/hosting company to resolve the issues so that we can use the standard mapleleafup.org?

Strange thing is that I can get to that url from work but not from home, I thought the site was down until I tried from work.

I lost connection from both home and work earlier this week but just thought it was routine maintenance of some sort. After a few days of thinking it was down I decided to search to see if there was a real problem and learned of the alternate links that brought me back today.

This is certainly and issue that needs to be resolved to avoid losing loyal visitors.

Great site.

James
