By the book it was one of each. The FN mount went on the right side with the rubber socket on the floor and the rubberised clip on the dash.

The SMG mount was on the dash originally, but for better security was moved to the floor by the passenger seat.

Anything installed beyond that was an illegal modification, although certainly would have made sense. Grunts would likely have had two FNs while zips would have had 2 SMGs.

There used to be an Cdn installation kit you ordered for the Jeeps which came with a nifty blue print which showed exactly where to mount everything. There is a CFTO instruction re the relocation of the fire extinguisher and the smg mount. I think we discussed this one on another thread.
