Albury Parade seems to be bigger every year, no matter what the weather (superb today) or the Holiday arrangements.
Some attempt to cordone off the bystanders from the road this year, which made it a little lonely out in the middle, with many off the calls to my diggers being missed unless yelled at full voume. Due to Melb. incident last year I suspect.
Horses lead off, with a fine flyover by the KittyHawk, up the main street to Monument Hill and return, followed shortly after by the the Harvard. Terrific sounds and appreciated by all (except maybe the horses...)
We only ever use open smaller vehicles, which keeps the diggers in full view, and in attempt to make it easier to get in and out of. Would hate to see a digger falling off a ladder! This means I will never parade the Blitz or the Humber, but the Champ does its bit.
We also nipped back over the Border and did Wodonga Parade, my passenger served in both the German Army, and Australian Army. Unusual career.
THANK YOU TO ALL OUR DIGGERS
Rich.
