The third one is the M135/M211 series. Interesting to see two trucks from different periods abandonned together. I'm not sure when the Studebaker might have been surplusssed but Canada kept their M135s until the 80s.

There's an old logging camp at the north end of Indian Arm with at least 3 cab 13's lined up.

I saw them as I was 'just passing through' back in the early 80's - the Navy had dropped us off at the head of the inlet and we tabbed north for 3 days, emerging from the bush a little past Squamish.

I'm pretty sure that the logging road is still nominally passable, so we should plan a bush-bashing road trip, Jeff!

There were e several camps up stave lake that used old Military equipment up into the 1970s. A friend of Mine worked in a camp were the transport or Crummy was a White half track. also they used the Tank transporters to haul loads of Wood out of the Bush.and also Hi Speed gun tractors as portable spar Trees.one is still sitting on the shore there.

Rob we can go up Indian arm closer to the summer to explore a friend of mine has a boat and loves to explore.

Yes it is .The M6 does not seem to be that rare around B.C due to the amount of Logging in the Area.
If there was Carrier Armour I would have pulled it out years ago.

Is this what one would call a logging truck? Well it involves a log and a truck!

The river gets pretty 'thin' once the snow's off the mountains, but sure, that'd be a hoot! Count me in....

And some other toys at the old logging camp...4 hours from no-where, and apparently not for sale.

Land rovers galore...there are at least three times the amount pictured:

Note the modified trailer under the boat:

And this little gem which I wasn't permitted to rescue:
