The third of Bob's pics is closest to a WW2 type. The first one is a 1959 pattern Aust Army edition.
http://oldcmp.net/Images/canvas/bandiaccess-4.jpg This was fitted to a late production RAAF CMP. Here's a different Aust WW2 pattern with a 1959 one for comparison: http://oldcmp.net/Images/canvas/eucanvas.jpg Yet another type on a C15 http://oldcmp.net/Images/Chevs/C15A/C15asunshine.jpg And an Australian pattern 6 seat utility: http://oldcmp.net/Images/official_pi...tility/top.jpg

Ian I made the perspex tops for every day use, easy to see out of, the canvas top [No 3 ] is made out of old railway tarp on an old frame for show time. Made a set for both Aussie door styles, takes about 2 hours per top. The perspex frames made from scratch. Made the bag for the tops out of the same tarp.
