As noted in the pics above, that Plug is connected to the Power Supply on the inside. No idea if it's for taking on or providing power out. Dunno, never seen it used.
No idea why they butchered the body to install a 15mm Plug. Stranger things have happened. Good luck finding one though. With the TCCCS having all sorts of voodoo crypto abilities built in, I doubt they will ever see the light of day outside of the CF (through official channels) which IMO, makes trying to mimic the Comms system an exercise in futility.
