The engine with the top distributor is a post war change over, so that does not help date the truck. The Ford on the cowl came out in about 43.

If you still have the tow hitch on the back, look behind it onto the spring. There is a date usually stamped there.

A rough guide to figuring out the date:
Cab 13: no ford script: holes on end of bumpers for reflectors, no Ford script on cowl, Ford commercial gauges = 1942
Cab 13: No holes on bumper for reflector, Ford script, Ford commercial gauges = 1943
Cab 13: No holes on bumper, no script, round gauges= 1944 or 45.

These are rough estimates only. If you check the frame by your rear right suspension, you may find the serial number stamped there.
