Here's a post I put up a few years ago.
I tool a few pix of the cab 13s I got home. This one has FORD embossed under the headlights. It has the old dash, a square roof hatch, and no lifting flanges on the hubs. If the FORD script makes it a 1944 model, do these other features fit?
And here's the reply I got from Keith Webb.
All the features fit and the 'FORD' script makes it a 1943 model. The 1944/5 models had 'FORD CANADA'
By this I'd say it's early 44 if it has the rectangular gauge panel and later 44 or 45 if it has round gauges.
Look on the top of the bellhousing and you'll find a serial number. If it's the original tranny that's the truck's serial number too. I've also seen a serial number on top of the frame by the front motor mounts.
