Thanks for the link - I've listened to the Richard Hillary one, he sounded so mature for a young man only 21 years old. What a tragedy to die in a training accident after going through all that.

I've downloaded a lot more of them - they make excellent listening on the long journeys to Temora and other places I go to do similar stories.

Last week and this it's been Beaufort men - two WAGs last week from 7 and 100 Squadrons and this Wed a Beaufort pilot from 100 Squadron. The other man I interviewed last week was a Spitfire pilot flying with 611 Squadron, Biggin Hill just after the Battle of Britain.
