Hi Jason
On all three of my CMPs the transfer case as well as all of the chassis with minor exceptions were painted the same basic color as the body, though I can not say if it is a perfect match because of the years of being coated with oil. Only major drive train component that was a different color was the engine. Cheers Phil

Hi Jason
CMPs are enough of a puzzle to begin with, and when you get one as loose part you it qualifies as a Giant Jigsaw Puzzle. Can't remember who said it but "The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask" is correct so ask away. I wish the MLU Forum had been around when I did my first CMP I was sending letters all over the world to ask complete strangers questions and the letters I received back often within days from the other side of the world still amazes me. Cheers Phil
